It’s not often that we get the opportunity to dress up, so when we saw Raise Me Up was doing this incredible benefit we didn’t want to miss out!
What’s Raise Me Up? It’s our local non-profit organization whose goal is to eliminate inadequate living conditions by fulfilling basic needs and raising awareness in the community. They run the food bank and have many great charity events throughout the year including Adopt-A-Bear and the Lighted Boat Parade at Christmas. This Masquerade event’s goal was to raise money to build the island’s first children’s home. Click here for more information on Raise Me Up!

It was a gorgeous night for a party.

The organizers giving a great speech.
Besides delicious food, live music and lots of laughter there was gambling too!
Everyone gathered around the craps table.
They also had a slideshow running all night that featured all of the charity events from the past year.

Ben and Joanna…Ben gets the award for the most creative mask of the night.
Everyone had a great time. Thanks to Raise Me Up for organizing this benefit.
We hope you crushed your goal and have the funds you need to start the construction of the new children’s home!
